Competition Information
Overview
Amplify is a national interschool music tournament hosted in Cape Town. In 2026, the programme starts with arrivals and registration on Thursday 23 July, followed by an official opening, an industry panel + Q&A, and on-stage rehearsal access.
The competition then runs across Friday 24 and Saturday 25 July 2026. (Looking ahead, our 2027 edition aims to include a full week of workshops, campus visits, mentorship sessions and rehearsals leading into the Friday/Saturday tournament.)

All performances run on a professionally managed stage.
We operate under the City of Cape Town event permit framework with medical, security and safety provisions in place.
